About Carson Keene, LPCA
I’m here to support you.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) working in Portland, Oregon. I've always been fascinated by people and their stories and experiences. I grew up in the midwest and attended a sleepaway camp for over 20 summers in Northern Michigan. With a social work degree and teaching masters I've worked as a wilderness field instructor with teens and spent the last 15 years working with children and families in the public school system in Portland, OR.
I love lakes, euchre, and my golden retriever Parker. I’ve been on a long term infertility and pregnancy journey as a non-binary solo parent by choice and am now looking forward to welcoming my first child with my partner in June 2025.
How I work:
At the core of my approach to therapy is a belief that you are worthy.
My therapeutic approach centers on cultivating awareness, clarity, and self-compassion amidst the chaos of whatever this life brings.
In our sessions, we will check in with the body as a guide for deepening understanding of emotions, strengthening the mind-body connection, and building deeper trust in your intuition.
Therapy with me is…
